This Privacy Policy describes how Throughline (doing business as Leak Stop) (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with our website at throughlinetrades.com and our customer SMS / text-messaging program.

1. Who we are

Throughline / Leak Stop provides home-service and leak-related customer communications for our business customers and end users who opt in to receive texts. Contact: jack@throughlinetrades.com.

2. Information we collect

• Contact information you provide, such as name, email address, mailing address, and mobile phone number.
• Messaging information, including SMS opt-in status, message content you send or receive in our program, delivery status, and timestamps.
• Service and device data needed to operate the service (for example, carrier routing metadata from our messaging provider).

3. How we use information

• To send transactional and customer-care SMS you opted into (for example appointment, status, and service updates).
• To respond to HELP / STOP and other program keywords.
• To operate, secure, and improve Leak Stop, including troubleshooting delivery failures.
• To comply with law and carrier / messaging-provider requirements (including A2P 10DLC registration).

4. SMS / text messaging

By providing a mobile number and opting in (for example via express verbal consent when you call the shop about a service request, or via our website form if offered), you consent to receive transactional / customer-care SMS from Leak Stop / Throughline about your service request (for example missed-call follow-up, appointment, and status updates).

Mobile phone numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes and are not sold. We may share numbers only with service providers who process messages for us (such as our SMS provider), under contracts that limit use to providing services to us.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to text is not a condition of purchase.

Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help. After you opt out we will send a confirmation and stop further program messages to that number unless you opt in again.

5. How we share information

We share information with service providers who help us operate the service, including our SMS / telephony provider (Twilio) and hosting providers, under contracts that limit use to providing services to us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share mobile numbers with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

6. Retention

We retain messaging and account records as needed to operate the program, meet legal and carrier obligations, and resolve disputes, then delete or de-identify when no longer needed.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

8. Your choices

• Opt out of SMS by replying STOP.
• Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing jack@throughlinetrades.com.

9. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above will change when we do. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
